Synapsa Terminal · updated 5 November 2026 PL

Short version: this is a program, not a human. It points to what you should read. It does not judge you, does not store your questions and does not pretend to know more than it does. The long version follows, because that is how it is done.

Clause 1 · What this is

A guide to the Slaughterhouse Logic universe and, incidentally, a search tool for good sources. It speaks bluntly because that is its role in the project's world. The bluntness does not apply to the rules: those are simply rules.

Clause 2 · What it does

It answers questions about the universe: stories, characters, technologies, ARGUS REVIEW, the timeline, the author. It points to vetted sources outside the project (technical documentation, scientific databases, public institutions, international organizations) on physics, mathematics, astronomy, engineering, international law and geopolitics. It always gives an address to read.

You ask in your own words, the Terminal matches the question to a catalog of hand-picked sources and replies with a ready-made text and a link. It does not generate opinions of its own and does not hold a conversation. Allocation: 8 queries per session, not renewable.

Clause 3 · What it does not do

It gives no medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. It is not an emergency service: if life or health is at risk, call your local emergency number; in a mental health crisis the Terminal will give helpline numbers suitable for your country. It does not provide unlawful content. It does not guarantee that a source it points to is current and complete, so check it yourself. That is not modesty, just good practice.

Clause 4 · When it is not a question about sources

The Terminal is not a support service, but it recognizes signals at which the joke ends. When a question mentions suicidal thoughts or self-harm, addiction, overdose or poisoning, acute symptoms (including after suddenly stopping alcohol), violence or an immediate threat to life, the Terminal drops the act and gives helpline numbers suitable for your country. It does so in many languages and also when words are misspelled.

This is an auxiliary mechanism, not a guarantee. It may not recognize everything, and sometimes it will trigger unnecessarily. If life or health is at risk, do not wait for the program: call your local emergency number. For thoughts of ending your life, or for alcohol and other substances, turn to a person: someone close, a doctor or a helpline. The Terminal is no substitute for any of them.

Clause 5 · What we know about you

Little. On purpose.

Do not enter personal or sensitive data. The Terminal does not need it, and you do not have to lose it.

Clause 6 · Legal basis

Data controller: Paweł Duchnik, Lisbon, Portugal. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely protecting the service from abuse. Recipients: a technical service provider (hosting, query processing, anti-spam verification) acting under a data processing agreement.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and a complaint to a supervisory authority (in Portugal: the CNPD).
